What are good offline activities for kids at home?

See our guide « Offline Activities for Kids at Home in India » on the IRA Creations blog — rainy-day ideas, screen-free routines, DIY painting kits, free printable sheets, and return-gift tips. Try the interactive paint demo on the homepage too.

4 years and up. Younger children will enjoy it with a grown-up alongside.

Are the paints safe for kids?

We use water colours chosen for kids' craft time — non-toxic and easy to rinse. As with any art materials, we recommend painting with adult supervision and covering clothes and surfaces.

When do kits launch, and how much are they?

We're launching as early as possible. Join the launch list below and you'll hear first.

How do you use my child's photo on the Artists Wall?

Only with a parent's OK. We show the painting, a first name and age — never faces or surnames — and remove it any time you ask.

Can I order for a birthday party or as gifts?

Party packs available. Message us on Instagram (@diywithira) or WhatsApp (+91 77688 61010) and we'll help.

Introducing IRA Creations: DIY Painting Kits for Little Artists

What IRA Creations is, who it is for, and why we are building screen-free painting kits children can personalise — one colour at a time.

IRA Creations makes DIY painting kits for children who love colour, stories, and making things with their hands. Our motto is simple: little hands, big imagination.

Each kit ships plain white figures ready to paint, child-friendly paint pots, and a brush sized for small fingers. No screens required — just table space and curiosity.

Who we are building for

We design for families who want meaningful play at home: parents planning birthday return gifts, grandparents looking for a thoughtful present, and educators who value fine-motor practice disguised as fun.

Recommended age is 4 years and up, with younger children happily painting alongside a grown-up.

What makes our kits special

Figures are sculptural keepsakes — not flat cardboard cut-outs. Children see a blank whale or starfish and imagine a character, then bring it to life with stripes, spots, and sparkle.

We are starting with our Under the Sea collection (five ocean friends) and expanding into themes like Little Idols so every child can find a world they love to paint.
